In 2024 we will sail in a small group on the sailing yacht Fair Lady across the Mediterranean, in and across the Atlantic to the beautiful Caribbean.
If you want to join in and steer, you can do so to your heart’s content and practice and train extensively on the yacht; if necessary, I will support you in word and deed.
Sailing beginners are also very welcome – I am happy about every guest and fellow sailor who shares the passion of sailing with me, I am happy to pass on tips and tricks and share my wealth of experience.

Sail with me for one, two or even more weeks and take part in this special way of life: being under sail on a spacious, comfortable and sleek owner's yacht.
I was fascinated by sailing from an early age and soon had the dream of sailing on my own keel. Today, almost four decades later, I can look back on a wealth of sailing experience with countless nautical miles on a wide variety of yachts.
My desire to be out and about - in a spacious atmosphere and with lots of comfort - brought me to the sailing yacht Fair Lady, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 54DS, in 2013 after a three-year search.
Since then, I have lived on the boat as host, skipper and owner for several months every year and have had a great time on the water, not least thanks to my numerous guests and friends who accompany me time and again.
After ten years on the coasts of Italy, Croatia and Greece, I am now drawn out into the great Atlantic and over to the beautiful Caribbean on the Fair Lady.

How to find the perfect sailing trip
You have no experience with sailing vacations or have only sailed on calmer waters such as inland waters or the Baltic Sea?
Are you unable to assess how challenging one or other sailing area is and what to expect in the individual sailing areas or on your desired trip?
To make it easier for you to find your ideal sailing trip, this website describes the different sailing areas and the type of trip you can expect.
Based on this, you can assess whether a trip in this area is something for you and your fellow sailors.
A distinction is made between moderate, ambitious and sporty.
The more of the blue status bar you see, the more accurate the respective characteristic is.
Each individual trip is also described again.

These will help you to make a more detailed assessment of the respective trip, although they are only a recommendation for a possible trip design and the trip does not necessarily have to take place in this way; after all, all fellow sailors can have a say in the trip design.
Weather, wind and waves naturally have a significant influence on sailing and everyone reacts differently to a rocking sailing boat, which is why the skipper always pays attention to the safety and well-being of all sailors and thus ensures that no one is overwhelmed and that the joint sailing trip offers an overall positive experience.
The cruise plan includes many sailing areas in the most beautiful regions.
You will certainly not get bored on the long route across the Mediterranean and across the pond to the beautiful Caribbean.
The sailing tour starts in Croatia in May, followed by Italy with its picturesque Amalfi Coast and Sardinia.
From Olbia, we sail around the wild and romantic island of Corsica before heading to the Balearic Islands around Mallorca and Ibiza on board the Fair Lady in August and finally to Malaga on the south coast of Spain.
We then pass through the Strait of Gibraltar and sail out into the vast Atlantic.
We visit the flower island of Madeira and then sail to the Canary Islands with the popular vacation islands of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera.
After a longer passage on the high seas, we reach the archipelago of Cape Verde, from where the approximately 3-week transatlantic tour to the Caribbean starts in mid-November.
You will be able to sail in paradise at the beginning of 2025.
Our base is located in the middle of the Lesser Antilles on the island of Martinique, which is also the start and finish destination of every Caribbean cruise.
From here, sailing trips are undertaken to the north or south, always with stops at many other beautiful islands, bays and Caribbean locations.

Sailing trips for beginners and experienced sailors
Every sailing area is different and places different demands on the sailors.
For example, the Sailing trips Croatia are ideal for beginners, families, seniors and groups, as they are always sailed close to the coast and the Adriatic is a rather calm sea.
Advanced sailors will find plenty of opportunities to develop their skills and experience on the sailing trips in the Atlantic – the sailing trips on the Atlantic offer wonderful areas for this and are therefore a good choice for sporty sailors.

However, as everyone is different and the sailing areas and seas are never the same, we recommend a telephone call in advance to find the perfect trip for you and to make it an unforgettable vacation trip.
If you prefer to plan a private sailing trip with your friends, family or colleagues, completely exclusive and without other sailors, you can also hire the whole yacht.
Your skipper will of course be on board and ensure a relaxed sailing trip where everyone gets their money’s worth.

Your sailing trip with friends, family or alone
The choice is yours: up to six seats are available on the Fair Lady .
Come alone, with your friends or partner.
Each of the three spacious guest cabins, each with its own bathroom and toilet, offers two comfortable beds.
For a small surcharge, you can also book a cabin for your own private individual use.
Travel alone and meet great, like-minded people; sail with a friend or group of friends and strengthen your team skills with four other sailors.
The Fair Lady is large enough to offer capacity for up to ten people; however, to ensure that everyone has ample opportunity to actively sail and learn if they wish, the sailing boat is not fully utilized and is only occupied by a maximum of six guests.
This provides enough space and generosity for everyone and ensures a relaxed sailing trip full of enjoyment.
