Here you can experience a picture-book sailing vacation.

Romantic bays, picturesque coastal villages and dreamlike nature next to sophisticated luxury marinas, gourmet temples and vibrant tourist centers.
Today like this, tomorrow like this - hardly anywhere else can your sailing vacation be more versatile than on a sailing trip to the Balearic Islands

In the sailing area of the Balearic Islands, there really is something for everyone: sightseers, shopping queens and night owls as well as culture and nature lovers, sports enthusiasts, gourmets and connoisseurs of all kinds.
After all, where else can you find so much variety in such a small space as here?

This opens up enormous possibilities for cruise planning and satisfies the wishes of all fellow sailors equally: strolling around the bays today, sightseeing, hiking or culture tomorrow and perhaps the day after tomorrow, after a fulfilling day of sailing, the luxury marina with its Michelin-starred restaurant and the luxury yachts of the rich and famous?

Moderate winds, an excellent maritime infrastructure, short distances and easy navigation make the sea area around Menorca, Mallorca and Ibiza one of the most popular sailing areas in Europe – not only for pleasure-oriented full-blooded sailors but also as an ideal area for beginners.

Of course, other yachties have long since discovered these advantages – in the high season, the harbors and marinas off Mallorca and the like are correspondingly full and prices are high.
However, this need not deter anyone, as the Balearic Islands are blessed with countless beautiful bays where free and safe anchoring is possible at any time.

Discover the Balearic Islands from the sea – your special vacation and sailing experience with a guaranteed colorful and varied mix.

General Information

Sailing vacations on and between the Balearic Islands are generally suitable for beginners and advanced sailors of all ages. These can be individuals, senior citizens, couples, groups of friends, groups (e.g. from sailing schools and/or clubs) or families with children over the age of 16.

Only the trip from Olbia to Mallorca (27.07. - 03.08. Sailing trip Italy to the Balearic Islands) can be challenging in the event of unfavorable wind conditions. Here it is important to keep an eye on the general weather conditions and to time the tactics for the two-day crossing from the northern tip of Sicily to the Balearic Islands well.
Otherwise, the sailing requirements in the sailing area around Mallorca and Ibiza or along the Spanish south coast to Malaga are not too demanding.
These sailing trips are therefore ideal for sailing beginners and novices, but also offer great sailing days for advanced pleasure sailors due to their high attractiveness.

Participants are welcome to actively sail along on all trips at any time, but this is not a prerequisite.

With the exception of the legs to the Balearic Islands and from there on to the southern Spanish mainland coast, the yacht always sails close to the coast.
The yacht is generally only sailed in good conditions and during the day in stages of 2 – 5 hours, depending on the destination or content of the day.
At night, the yacht is moored in a bay or at the jetty of a harbour or marina.
You can either cook or barbecue on board in a beautiful bay or take advantage of the wide range of restaurants on land.

The sailing trip from Olbia to Mallorca (27.07. – 03.08.) promises varied offshore sailing over a full two days with at least one night trip.
An absolutely interesting trip for advanced sailors who want to expand their wealth of experience in this area.
All other cruise offers in and around the Balearic Islands are pure pleasure cruises with a variety of different options, depending on the wishes, orientation and interests of the fellow sailors.
Since we always determine the daily schedule together, the wishes and interests of everyone are taken into account so that everyone gets their money’s worth.

Event Details

The cruise offers are usually designed for 1 or 2-week cruises, from Saturday to Saturday. On the day of arrival or shortly before, I will inform you of the Fair Lady's exact berth, where the yacht will be ready and freshly cleaned from 4 pm.
You take your time moving into your spacious cabin and settle in with a welcome drink.
Until all the other sailors have arrived, we do our first shopping and get to know each other over dinner before setting sail the next morning after a briefing.

During our sailing trip around Mallorca, Ibiza, the beautiful sandy beaches of Palma and Eivissa, we have plenty of time to snorkel and relax.
We encounter calm seas between the beautiful islands, making this sailing trip suitable for beginners and experienced sailors, families and couples. Of course, there is also time for a walk around Mallorca, a visit to the cathedral or other activities suggested by the group. As skipper, I let everyone decide together and am happy to give tips on the respective places and sights.

Unlike many other sailing trips, you don't need any sailing experience, but you can get a taste of sailing. Anyone who wants to can sail on the sailing trips themselves. As an advanced sailor, you can build up your experience and collect many nautical miles or simply enjoy sailing on the sun deck. As an experienced skipper, I can quickly assess which route and weather conditions are suitable for my fellow sailors.

Taking into account the current conditions and the destinations to be reached, all other aspects of the trip (e.g. routes, spots / sights / restaurants to be visited, mooring in the harbor or anchoring in the bay, etc.) are always discussed and planned together.

The last day of the sailing trip brings us close to our final destination and we end the sailing trip together in a nice restaurant before I ask you to vacate the cabin by 10 a.m. the next day.

Arrival

The best way to travel to the Balearic Islands is by plane.

All starting points and destinations have international airports in the immediate vicinity and are served several times a week by a wide variety of destinations and airlines. The first sailing trip on the Balearic Islands takes place on Mallorca (from Italy or Oblia to the island of Mallorca)

As the co-sailing offers are one-way trips that start in one place and end in another, we recommend booking an open jaw flight.

On the road between Mallorca & Co.

While we're sailing on the water, you don't have to do without any amenities. In my position as skipper, I made the yacht seaworthy before the start of the trip, for example by cleaning it, filling all the tanks, checking the batteries, etc., so that we don't run out of water or electricity between the islands in the Mediterranean.

You can use the sanitary facilities without restriction. You don't have to do without electricity either. Thanks to a few solar panels and a wave generator, we are self-sufficient for many nautical miles. We could prepare something to eat in the fully functional kitchen or barbecue on deck. We can also go ashore off the coast and visit a local restaurant with the cash on board.

Look forward to your sailing vacation between Menorca, Mallorca, Ibiza & Co.

This is how it continues

After leaving the islands around Menorca, Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera and, with Malaga, the Spanish mainland behind us, we head out into the great Atlantic via Gibraltar.
Every Atlantic sailing trip is a little more challenging than in the Mediterranean, but at least as beautiful.
Full-blooded sailors in particular will get their money’s worth here.
Beforehand, however, there will be a 2-week maintenance stop in Malaga, where the ship will be refitted and made fit for the great journey across the Atlantic Ocean.
