IDEAL FOR CONNOISSEURS
The Croatian coast impresses with moderate sailing conditions, short distances and a Mediterranean climate.
Ideal for pleasure sailors and families looking for a relaxed sailing vacation.
Croatia - one of the most scenic coastal regions in Europe.
This makes the country a dream spot for sailors.
Like no other sailing area in the world, Croatia offers an enormous density of islands lined up off its mainland coast.
There are over 1,200 of them – some larger, some smaller – but always with their own charm and character.
Often only a few nautical miles separate our quiet and tranquil anchorage from the colorful hustle and bustle of one of the numerous, usually extremely charming coastal towns.
If an inviting taverna was just hiding in the well-protected bay, a secluded bathing bay, a tranquil fishing village or many a cultural and historical highlight may be waiting for us behind the next headland.
This diversity in a very small area, combined with short sailing stages and an exemplary maritime infrastructure with small and large harbors, marinas, buoy fields, simple konoba jetties and romantic anchorages makes sailing in Croatia so inviting, attractive and varied.
The Adriatic is known to be one of the calmer seas with moderate winds and waves.
It is therefore equally suitable for beginners and advanced sailors.
This makes Croatia an extremely popular sailing area for families and pleasure sailors of all ages.

What to expect and what you should know about your sailing trip on the Fair Lady
General Information
The Croatia cruises are generally suitable for all beginners interested in sailing as well as for advanced sailors of all ages. These can be individuals, senior citizens, couples, groups of friends, groups (e.g. from sailing schools and/or clubs) or families with children over the age of 16.
The sailing requirements of these trips are in the lower range and only rarely higher.
Participants are welcome to sail along at any time, but this is not a prerequisite.
We always determine the daily schedule together so that all the wishes and interests of the fellow sailors are taken into account as far as possible and everyone gets their money's worth.
The yacht moves mainly close to the coast.
As a rule, we only sail during the day in relatively short legs of 3 - 5 hours and in good conditions.
This leaves plenty of time for swimming and enjoying, relaxing and idleness.
At night, the yacht is anchored in a bay or at a jetty/quay.
Depending on our mood, we either go out for dinner or cook or barbecue on board in a beautiful bay.
In addition to the "vacation under sail" and the associated extremely high deceleration factor, the focus of these trips is on experiencing nature, swimming, snorkeling, relaxing, enjoying and - depending on the destination - interesting excursions to real highlights such as the Kornati islands, the Krka waterfalls or UNESCO World Heritage cities such as Split or Dubrovnik.
Event Details
The cruise offers are generally designed for 1 or 2-week cruises, from Saturday to Saturday.
On the day of arrival or shortly before, I will inform you of the Fair Lady's exact berth, where the yacht will be ready and freshly cleaned from 16 .
You can settle into your spacious cabin in peace and quiet and settle in with a welcome drink.
Until all the other sailors have arrived, we will do our first shopping and get to know each other over dinner before we set sail the next morning after an initial briefing.
All other cruise contents (e.g. routes, spots / sights / restaurants to be visited, mooring in the harbor or anchoring in the bay, etc.) are discussed and planned together, taking into account the current conditions.
I summarize the individual wishes and am happy to give tips on the respective cruise destinations or contribute my own experience to ensure an all-round successful sailing trip for all participants.
The last day of the trip brings us close to our final destination and we end the sailing trip together in a nice restaurant before I ask you to vacate the cabin by 10 a.m. the next day.
Arrival
Experience has shown that most sailors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland use their own car to get to Croatia.
The harbors and marinas have parking spaces where the vehicle can be safely parked for the duration of the trip.
All sailing trips offered in Croatia are one-way trips that start in one place and end in another.
Here it is easily possible to return to the original port of departure and thus to your own vehicle via fast ferry or bus within a few hours at the end of the trip.
Croatia offers an enormous density of ferry connections, which often run several times a day.
There are also 4 international airports directly on the Croatian coast: Pula, Zadar, Slit and Dubrovnik.
They are served several times a day by a wide variety of destinations and airlines.
